Education and Specialty Training

Prof. Dr. Berkan Reşorlu completed his medical education at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine between 1997 and 2003. Between 2003 and 2008, he completed his specialty training at the Department of Urology of Ankara University Faculty of Medicine and became a Urology Specialist. In order to further improve his training in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery, he was at Bakırköy Training and Research Hospital in 2012 and at Cleveland Clinic in 2013, gaining experience in these fields.

Academic and Professional Career

Continuing his academic studies actively, Dr. Reşorlu received the title of associate professor in 2013 and professor in 2022. He served as Education Supervisor at Ankara Training and Research Hospital Urology Clinic between 2014 and 2015 and worked as a faculty member at Ondokuz Mayıs University Department of Urology between 2016 and 2019. After working at Memorial Ankara Hospital between 2019 and 2020, he has been serving his patients in his own private practice in Ankara since November 2020.

About Me

Prof. Dr. Berkan Reşorlu is a urology specialist recognized nationally and internationally, especially for his work in kidney stone diseases and endoscopic stone surgery. With more than 110 scientific publications in SCI/SCI-E indexed international journals, Reşorlu has made significant contributions to the literature through his studies on endoscopic stone surgery. The stone scoring system he developed together with his colleagues has been accepted in international literature and validated many times.

Participating in many national and international congresses, symposiums, and scientific meetings, Prof. Dr. Reşorlu has taken part as an invited speaker in an important portion of these meetings and has performed live surgical procedures. At the same time, he has played an active role in the organization of many scientific meetings, courses, and workshops; contributed as an invited author to international scientific books; and serves as an editor and reviewer in various scientific journals.
