Penis enlargement with P-Shot is a method that supports tissue regeneration through platelet-rich plasma injection, but strong scientific evidence showing that it provides permanent and significant penis enlargement is limited. The application is mostly aimed at improving erectile function and tissue quality.
The mechanism of action of P-Shot treatment is based on injecting growth factors obtained from the patient’s own blood into penile tissues, and in this process, cellular regeneration and vascular circulation are intended to be supported. This effect is associated with functional improvement rather than volume increase.
Clinical expectations after P-Shot vary depending on factors such as the individual’s current health status, age, hormonal balance, and vascular structure, and results are generally reported as an increase in subjective satisfaction. It is not accepted as a standard enlargement method.
The safety of P-Shot application depends on being performed under sterile conditions and by a specialist physician, and side effects are generally mild. However, it is recommended that alternative treatment options be evaluated for individuals seeking definite and permanent results for penis enlargement.
How Is P-Shot Application Performed?
P-Shot is one of the regenerative medicine methods applied to the male genital area. This PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)-based treatment is based on applying plasma obtained from the person’s own blood to the penile tissue through micro-needles. The PRP used here contains a high concentration of growth factors, so it stimulates cell regeneration. PRP injection has the potential to increase tissue elasticity, provide better blood supply, and indirectly improve function. The application stages are summarized as follows:
- Approximately 10–20 ml of blood is taken from the arm.
- This blood is spun in a special centrifuge device for about 10 minutes.
- As a result of this process, platelet-rich plasma is separated in the upper part.
- Local anesthetic cream is applied to the penis area.
- The PRP solution is administered to the penile shaft from several points by microinjection.
The total procedure time is between 30–40 minutes. Pain during the application is minimal, and thanks to anesthesia, the patient does not feel any pain. After treatment, the patient can return to daily life without requiring any hospitalization. The frequency of application may vary according to the person’s expectations and current physiological condition. Although a single session is usually sufficient, in some cases, 2–3 sessions may be planned.
How Much Penis Growth Is Possible with P-Shot?
P-Shot is not directly a surgical penis enlargement method. However, it may indirectly provide volume and form increase in penile tissue. This occurs thanks to new vessel formation and tissue regeneration stimulated in the area after injection. A visible fullness and a healthier skin structure may be achieved in the penile shaft. How much this effect will be may vary according to the person’s anatomical structure, age, circulatory system health, and injection response. While visual difference may be more noticeable in some individuals, it may remain more limited in others.
However, the important point that should not be forgotten is this: P-Shot treatment mainly aims at functional improvement. A visible change in fullness should be considered a natural outcome of the treatment; it should not be forgotten that the main goal is to increase erection quality and improve the health of penile tissue. To achieve higher efficiency, P-Shot should be supported with a healthy lifestyle; habits that negatively affect vascular health, such as smoking, alcohol, and poor nutrition, should be avoided.
The Effect of P-Shot on Erection Quality
One of the strongest effects of P-Shot treatment is the positive change in erectile function. The penis requires a dense vascular structure and strong nerve conduction for a healthy erection. With PRP injection, these two systems are targeted simultaneously. Factors such as VEGF found in PRP trigger the formation of new capillaries. In this way, blood supply in the penis area increases, which allows erections to occur more easily, last longer, and be harder. In addition, an increase in nerve ending functions is also observed. This condition may produce very positive results especially in patients with mild to moderate erectile dysfunction due to neurological causes. The treatment may be more effective especially in the following groups:
- Those experiencing erection problems due to advancing age
- Those experiencing functional loss due to smoking, stress, or environmental causes
- Individuals with mild vascular occlusion
These functional effects of P-Shot generally begin to be felt within the first 2–4 weeks after treatment. The most noticeable change occurs after the 2nd month.
What Is the Permanence of P-Shot?
The change is not noticed immediately after P-Shot treatment. Because the effect of PRP appears over time through the regeneration process it initiates in the tissue. Generally, patients begin to feel mild effects within 2–3 weeks after the procedure. The most intense effect is seen between 1 and 3 months. During this process, skin quality increases, vascular structure strengthens, and the feeling of fullness during erection becomes more noticeable. The effects of P-Shot application are not temporary; however, since aging and environmental factors continue, effectiveness may decrease over time. Therefore, a reminder session once a year may be recommended.
The person’s lifestyle is also effective on the permanence of the results. If there are factors that impair vascular health, such as smoking, high blood pressure, or diabetes, the obtained benefit may decrease in a shorter time. Therefore, gaining healthy lifestyle habits after P-Shot directly affects the long-term success of the treatment. In addition, sexual intercourse or excessive physical contact should be limited for the recommended period after P-Shot; the body should be given time for tissue regeneration to progress healthily. A short protection period of 24–48 hours is generally recommended.
Other Treatments That Can Be Combined with P-Shot
P-Shot (Priapus Shot), although an effective treatment method on its own, can provide much stronger and longer-lasting results when used together with other methods in certain situations. Such combined treatment approaches are preferred especially for patients who want a more noticeable and long-lasting effect.
- Combination with Penis Pumps: After P-Shot application, penis pumps that patients can use at home may be recommended. These devices mechanically increase circulation in the penis and play a supportive role in the effect of PRP. They also reinforce tissue development after injection by increasing the elasticity of tissues. Especially in patients aiming for volume increase, this method may increase the response of tissues to PRP.
- Low-Intensity Shock Wave (ESWT) or Laser Applications: Low-intensity shock wave therapy or fractional laser applications together with P-Shot may stimulate microcirculation in the penis area and encourage new vessel formation. This method creates a synergistic effect by working together with the growth factors contained in PRP. Clinical studies have shown that this combination is more successful in increasing erection quality.
Hormone Supplements: In individuals with low testosterone levels, testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) may be recommended in addition to P-Shot application. In this way, libido, energy level, and general sexual function can be further improved. However, hormone support must be confirmed with laboratory tests and applied under doctor control.
Who Is P-Shot Suitable For?
P-Shot is suitable for healthy male individuals over the age of 20. This treatment provides effective results especially in the following groups:
- Those with mild/moderate erection problems
- Those with age-related loss of elasticity in penile tissue
- Those looking for non-surgical, natural, and minimal-risk solutions
- Those who want fullness in aesthetic appearance and increased skin quality
Before the application, the patient history should be taken in detail, and systemic diseases, if any (diabetes, hypertension, vascular diseases, etc.), should be evaluated. These factors are taken into account in treatment planning, and the number of sessions, injection technique, and follow-up period are determined specifically for the person. Conditions in which P-Shot cannot be applied are rare.
Who Should Not Receive P-Shot?
Although P-Shot treatment is generally a safe and low-risk application, it is not suitable for some individuals. First of all, the procedure should be postponed in individuals with active infection. Especially if there are conditions such as herpes, fungal infection, open wound, or inflammation in the genital area, PRP application should not be performed on this tissue. It should be waited until the infection passes, and the procedure should be planned after the skin has completely healed.
Blood diseases also constitute an important contraindication. Especially in people with a tendency to bleed (hemophilia, thrombocytopenia, etc.), risks such as bruising, blood leakage, or delayed healing after injection increase. In addition, in individuals receiving cancer treatment—especially if the immune system is suppressed—an oncology specialist should be consulted before the application.
The effectiveness of the treatment may also decrease in patients with severe diabetes, uncontrolled hypertension, or advanced vascular diseases. Such systemic diseases may slow down the tissue repair process and make it difficult to obtain the desired results. Chronic autoimmune diseases, use of immunosuppressive drugs, or hormonal imbalances may also limit the effect of P-Shot. Before starting treatment, these diseases should be considered and consultation should be requested from relevant specialists if necessary.
The procedure may also be postponed in individuals who experience excessive anxiety about the procedure during or after the application and who are not psychologically ready. P-Shot requires psychological adaptation as well as physical adaptation. Therefore, patient suitability should be determined carefully by making an evaluation in every aspect.
Is P-Shot Safe?
P-Shot treatment is a procedure with high safety and a very low side effect rate. The main reason for this is that the material used belongs entirely to the person. Since PRP is obtained from the person’s own blood, it is not rejected by the immune system and does not carry a risk of allergic reaction. The following effects may rarely be seen after the procedure:
- Mild bruising
- Temporary swelling
- Mild tenderness at the injection site
These effects usually disappear completely within 1–2 days. Performing the application in a sterile environment by an experienced physician reduces the risk of infection to almost zero. Since P-Shot is not a surgical application, it does not include procedures such as bleeding, incision, or stitches. This makes it possible for the patient to return quickly to daily life. At the same time, there is no need for long-term rest, medication use, or dressing after the procedure. In addition to being safe, repeatability is also one of the advantages of P-Shot. If desired, sessions can be applied at intervals of 6 months – 1 year, and this is a safe method to extend the duration of effect.
What Should Be Considered Before P-Shot Treatment?
Some important points that should be considered before P-Shot application are of great importance for the safety and success of the treatment. This preparation process is as valuable a stage as the application itself and allows the patient to get maximum benefit from the treatment. Medications used before treatment must definitely be reviewed. Especially drugs with blood-thinning effects such as aspirin, ibuprofen, or warfarin should be temporarily discontinued with the doctor’s knowledge and approval. Since such drugs may increase the risk of bruising or bleeding in the area after injection, caution is required.
Alcohol and smoking may negatively affect blood circulation in the body and weaken the positive effects of PRP treatment on tissues. Therefore, it is recommended to stop or minimize alcohol and smoking at least three days before the procedure. If there is any infection, irritation, skin disease, or open wound in the penis area, the procedure should be postponed. In order for the treatment to take place on a healthy basis, the area must be completely healed.
In addition, consuming enough fluids on the day of the procedure is important. Drinking plenty of water increases the quality of the blood to be taken and directly supports the effectiveness of PRP. A light breakfast can be eaten on the same day. Since hunger or fatigue may cause discomfort during the application, adequate sleep and a balanced start before the procedure are recommended. Clothing choice is also important for comfort. Comfortable, loose clothes that do not put pressure on the area should be preferred. Since the area may be sensitive after the procedure, tight clothes are recommended to be avoided.
What Should Be Considered After P-Shot Treatment?
Being careful and conscious after P-Shot application is very important in terms of the permanence and effectiveness of the result obtained with treatment. Simple but effective steps to be applied during this period support the healing of tissues and also ensure maximum benefit from the treatment.
It is recommended not to have sexual intercourse for the first 24 to 48 hours after the procedure. This period is necessary for the applied PRP to spread naturally into the tissues and for its healing effect to settle. Likewise, it is important that the injection area remains clean and dry on the first day. Showering should not be done within the first 24 hours after the application; in the following days, hygiene should be maintained by gently cleaning the area.
Heavy physical activities should be avoided during the recovery process. Especially exercises that may put pressure on the penis area, such as cycling, are not suitable for the first 2–3 days after the procedure. Activities such as light-paced walking may be preferred. During this period, no external massage, hot application, cream, or cosmetic product should be applied to the injection area. The natural spread of PRP by the body gives the best result without external intervention.
Drinking plenty of water and paying attention to healthy nutrition are also important to support the body’s healing capacity. Vegetables and fruits rich in antioxidants and foods with a high vitamin-mineral balance should be preferred during this process. Thus, cellular regeneration accelerates and the treatment becomes more effective.
A control consultation is usually planned within 4–6 weeks after the application. This evaluation is performed to monitor the personal effects of the treatment and to plan a supportive second session if necessary. Mild bruising, soreness, or temporary tenderness at the injection site may occur after treatment. These symptoms disappear spontaneously within a few days and generally do not require any medical intervention.
